Bu konular İstanbul’da 27 – 28 Mayıs 2009 tarihlerinde, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi’nde, yapılacak bir dizi seminer ve atölye çalışmaları çerçevesinde dile getiriliyor.
“Gıdanın Geleceği” konulu seminer ve atölye çalışmaları Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Kültür Merkezi’nde, 27-28 Mayıs tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilecek. ‘Gıda egemenliği’, ‘GDO’lara karşı mücadele’, ‘Su, gıda ve tohum hakkı’ gibi konular üzerine tartışmaların gerçekleşeceği etkinlik dünyaca ünlü konuklara da ev sahipliği yapacak.
Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Çevre Bilimleri Enstitüsü, Slow Food Türkiye ve GDO’ya Hayır Platformu’nun birlikte düzenlediği etkinlikler çerçevesinde yer alan ‘Dünyadan Perspektifler’ seminerinde dünyaca ünlü çevre ve ekoloji düşünürü, araştırmacı ve aktivist Dr. Vandana Shiva ve İtalya merkezli Slow Food hareketinin kurucusu Carlo Petrini de yer alacak.
İki gün sürecek etkinlikler kapsamında yapılacak atölye çalışmaları “Gıda üretiminde biyoçeşitliliğin korunması”, “Üreticiden tüketiciye adil gıda zincirlerinin kurulması” ve “Gıda üretiminde su kaynaklarının paylaşılması ve korunması” başlıkları altında ele alınacak.
“Dünyadan Perspektifler” seminerinin yanı sıra “Türkiye’den Perspektifler”in de gündeme getirileceği toplantıya , Ziraat Mühendisleri Odası Başkanı Gökhan Günaydın, Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Öğretim Üyesi Tayfun Özkaya ve Çiftçi Sendikaları Konfederasyonu Başkanı Abdullah Aysu da konuşmacı olarak katılacaklar.
Etkinliklerin sonunda, seminer ve atölye çalışmalarının sonuçları kamuoyuyla paylaşılacak.
